Stopped taking my anti-depressants. Moved back home. Turned twenty-one. Isolated again, but happier alone. Purple - Britt, forever. Passed my course! Bring it on, 2009.
Met new people. Lost my virginity. Moved out of home. Left school. Worked insane hours. Got fired. Enrolled in new course. Still in love.
The Mayfly Project <— Discovered the idea there.
Last year, I discovered the Mayfly Project, and thought it was great. This was 2005’s:
“Contemplated suicide. Spent eighteenth on a plane. Discovered regret. Learnt to control my depression. Loved myself, finally. Fell in love, or something like it.”
Now, 2006’s:
“Broke someone’s heart. Met new people. Wanted to move out. Didn’t. Finished something, finally. Laughed, cried, learnt, grew. Fell in love - the real deal.”
Twenty-four words can say a lot, I’ve found.
