My Weekend.

This weekend was absolutely awesome, so I am going to post a blog about it. I am also writing a blog because my classes start tomorrow, but I shall get to that later.

Bart and Colleen (friend’s of Gentil’s) got married on Friday night, at a lovely place in Kew. “Butleigh Wootton”, haha. The ceremony was held outside, in the garden, then there were pre-dinner drinks under the marquee, then dinner inside. Colleen looked absolutely stunning, and her dress was beautiful. White, strapless, embroidered bodice, buttons down the back, embroidery on the small train. It was very pretty. The whole wedding was very well organised, and planned out. I’m sure a lot of thought and effort went into the planning of it, and it showed. Gentil and I left at 10:30pm or so, as his father was picking us up and he had to work the next day.

On Saturday, we woke up around midday and watched movies until about 7:30pm, when Andrew (Anthony’s cousin) came to pick us up to take us us to Sunbury to celebrate Nicole’s birthday with her. I had told Gentil earlier that if he drove like a maniac I would get out of the car, but thankfully he didn’t. When we stopped at Hungry Jacks for dinner though, there was suddenly this beeping sound.

Andrew promptly picked up a breathalyser type thing and blew into it. My jaw dropped. He explained that he’d been drink driving one night and had ploughed his car into a building, but had learnt his lesson. I nearly freaked out then, but since he’d driven well up until that point I decided not to stress about it. Anyway, we got to Anthony and Nicole’s at about 8:30pm, gave Nicole her present (a JB HI-FI giftcard), said happy birthday and all that, then Andrew announced he was making cocktails. He made Blue Lagoon’s first up, which were quite nice.. but they had nothing on the Fruit Tingle’s he made after that. Mmm.. hehe. I didn’t drink that much, basically I just tasted Gentil’s.

We left to go to The Attic nightclub at about 10pm. It was pretty slow to start with, but it eventually got quite busy, and Nicole, Zita and I danced a lot. I think I drank more of Gentil’s first three Black Russians than he did.. then he got smart and stopped ordering them with ice, and I decided I should have a lemonade.

Funny stuff that happened: a guy who looked about 12, and his short friend were like.. attempting to hit on Nicole, Zita and I.. it was terrible. Anthony laughed his head off, and Gentil looked all serious, it was funny. So anyway. We left the nightclub at around 3am, and I think I ended up in bed at about 4am. Then this morning, we watched The 40 year old Virgin, and Andrew drove Gentil and I home. Ah, fun times. ;)

I’m starting the Science course tomorrow, it should be great. =) Hopefully the timetable I sorted out will actually work, and I’ll get there on time.

So yep, I’m tired.. ciao.
