Half of today was, unfortunately, wasted. After falling asleep at just past two in the morning, I slept until nearly eleven. When I went upstairs to say good morning to my mother she informed me that I had been telling them I was just about to get up since about seven thirty. I guess I needed the sleep.. I just wish I had actually gone to Chemistry. I don’t like missing the Science classes.. or any classes at all, for that matter. Except for Communication Skills, I hate that class, and it can burn in hell for all I care.

I did manage to get my Biology homework done in preparation for our prac on a mammalian heart tomorrow, and I also managed to sort out my various folders and the million worksheets we are handed on a daily basis. I didn’t end up paying $100 on my iPod as planned, though hopefully I’ll get there tomorrow morning. That, of course, means I will be late for Maths, but since we’re only doing really basic Trigonometry I think I’ll be ok.

I finished paying off my advance payment last fortnight, which means that next payday I’ll have an extra $30 in the bank. I’m planning on having it paid into a separate savings account every fortnight, then linking that account to an ING account. The ING account offers 6.0% interest per annum, so everytime I hit $100 in the savings account, I’ll transfer it to the interest earning account. I’ll only earn a tiny amount of interest to start with, but it will grow.. and hey, who doesn’t want to earn money just from having it in the bank?

My iPod case arrived today, and luckily I absolutely adore the color I chose. Everything was packaged together, in perfect condition, and it arrived within a week. The case is made of the most gorgeous feeling silicon ever.. it’s seriously not sticky or rubbery like most silicon cases are. I am SO excited.. I can’t wait til I get my iPod. Only about 3 weeks to go. =)

My laptop is still performing well, and I’m really happy with it. I doubt that I’ll ever use my computer again, unfortunately.. Gentil had bought me a DVD burner for my birthday, so I’m feeling kind of bad about that. Still, who can blame me? Julian is faster, lighter, prettier and portable.

Anyway, time for bed.. Gentil is over tonight. Yay, snuggles. *beams*
