Tonight was my last shift at the video store; Michael had all of my other shifts covered, even though I said I would work the two weeks notice period. He called while Emma and I were working; basically, he said thank you for working, and he wished me all the best. He also said if I ever wanted to go back in the future to let him know. I thought that was really nice of him, and I know he’ll be a good reference.

I’m going to miss working there, really. Not just because of the job, or the people, but because working there was reminiscent of the time when I was living with Gentil and we were happy. It was a reminder of that, and I think it made leaving there a lot harder. I will miss the girls, of course; I have their numbers though, and I plan on messaging them from time to time. They’re all invited to my 21st as well.

Last night I completed the last mission in the Prophecies campaign, and now I have a quest that gives 20,000XP as a reward. That is a scary amount of XP - imagine how long and hard the quest is going to be. Oh! I also gained the Tyrian Explorer title, meaning I have (finally) explored over 60% of Tyria. I can’t believe how long it has taken me to get there.. possibly because exploring really bored me at first.

My breakfast tomorrow morning was cancelled, so now I can help Mum get the children up and out the door for school. I’m excited about tomorrow; no girls, no Stephen, no whining or fighting. Just Mum and I, and a broadband internet connection, rofl. I’m looking forward to the peace and quiet though, seriously.
